Lisa's Rum Cakes are all handmade and highly perishable. Our time-tested recipes have been making customers happy since 1975, and our goal is to exceed your expectations. We guarantee our cake products to be of the highest quality, and we strive to maintain this quality throughout every delivery.
REFUNDS OR RETURNS
If the purchaser believes we have not met our goal, please contact us within five business days of the delivery date on the order with enough information to allow us to understand the situation. We will make every attempt to correct any deficiency on our part through replacement of the item in question or provide in-store credit for the total price of your purchase (including shipping?).
Our ongoing philosophy: If you are not satisfied with the condition of one of our selections, you can contact us and expect us to do the right and fair thing.
Lisa's Rum Cake, at our sole discretion, reserves the right to refuse service to any customer we determine to be abusing this policy.
ADDITIONALLY. . .
Since weights, dimensions and other information about the items are accessible on the website, the purchaser assumes all responsibility for ensuring that the size, color and so on of selected items are appropriate for the event at hand. Therefore, Lisa's Rum Cake will not offer replacements or refunds for reasons of size, weight, color or disputes over value.
Lisa's Rum Cake is not responsible for “change of mind” situations such as “I really like the blue decorations better now that I see this one in person” or situations where personal taste differences occur such as “I don’t really care for the chocolate amaretto chip.”
Lisa's Rum Cake is not responsible for changes submitted less than three days prior to the desired delivery date of items shipped overnight and four days prior to the desired delivery date of items shipped ground. If you have changes that are needed, and they are outside of this time frame, please call us and we will do our very best to accommodate you; we just cannot guarantee them. Lisa's Rum Cake is not responsible for any damages or nondelivery of products if the intended recipient is not there to receive the package, or incomplete or inaccurate address information was provided at the time the order was placed.
Once your package leaves our hands and is accepted by the carrier, Lisa's Rum Cake is no longer held liable for damages caused by delivery delays due to weather, carrier malfunctions and the like. It is your responsibility to track your package through your chosen carrier to insure it is delivered on-time to your location.

Ordering information collected about you or the recipient of your gift is used to process orders or to contact you regarding the status of your order.
For the purpose of order fulfillment, this information is viewed by employees of Lisa's Rum Cake who adhere to the strictest standards of confidentiality.
Some information will also be viewed by third parties (delivery service, credit card companies) who are involved in the processing of your order.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Lisa's Rum Cake is open Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, and Saturday, 9 am - 11 am. We are closed on major holidays. **PLEASE NOTE: Christmas Eve (12/24) and New Year's Eve (12/31) we have reduce our hours of operation from 9 am - 11 am in order that our employees may spend time with their families.
All cakes picked-up locally must done so during normal hours of operation (M - F, 9 am - 5 pm; Sat. 9 am - 11 am). Cakes being shipped via FedEx/UPS next day air must be shipped Monday - Thursday (except Holidays). Cakes being shipped via FedEx Home Delivery (when available) must be shipped Monday - Friday for arrival on Tuesday - Saturday (Sunday deliveries not available). Cakes being shipped UPS Ground (when available) must be shipped Monday - Thursday for arrival on Tuesday - Friday (Saturday and Sunday deliveries not available).
