One of our most unique creations, added by customer request. An original combination of true Southern Red Velvet ingredients and our quality components, make this unlike any other. It’s the replacement of cream cheese with Lisa’s Italian whipped cream and French Vanilla custard that have made this cake cake rich in color, but not overly rich in taste.
My guests raved over this cake. It looked absolutely beautiful and tasted just wonderful. We were disappointed that there were no leftovers :( Will just have to order a bigger cake next time. (This one was for 40 people). This was the first time we tried a new flavor---guess we'll just have to try them all to find out which is my favorite :)
We are TRUE fans of Lisa's cakes (having been a customer of Cathy's for years) - we own a small Bed and Breakfast and I am actually a Chef - but I bow to "the master" and proudly serve Lisa's cakes in our establishment! The classic strawberry with rum has always been my absolute favorite but WOW am I impressed with the Red Velvet -- now, if you can't make up your mind which is your favorite go for the NEAPOLITAN as it has the best of **THREE WORLDS" in it and is sure to please everyone at the same time!! Love you guys!!
