In 1975, Cathy’s Rum Cake began as a small family bakery in Chandler, Arizona. Over the next fifty years, it would become a culinary landmark — famous for its signature Italian custard filled cakes and unforgettable celebrations. Cathy Bua (Lisa's mother) was known as the Martha Stewart of Arizona, as she decorated and catered parties all over the valley. As Cathy’s Rum Cake marks its 50th anniversary, it stands as a testament to enduring quality, community connection, and the sweetness of tradition.
