Unleash your inner artist and learn the art of cake decorating in a fun, hands-on 90 minute beginner's course held at the elegant Decadent Macaron! Whether you're a total novice or just looking to improve your skills, this rum-of-a-kind course offers a welcoming and relaxed environment to explore your creativity-no prior experience needed.
Guided by expert decorators (Lisa and daughters) and featuring Lisa's famous rum cakes, you'll practice essential techniques such as smooth frosting, piping basics, and simple design accents. You'll work with real cakes that you get to take home (for solo indulgence or sharing), using high-quality ingredients and tools that Lisa has trusted for 50 years and counting. 

What You'll Learn:

• How to decorate a cake with Lisa's signature Italian whipped cream frosting.

• How to base frost an assembled cake.

• Basic piping techniques (borders, rosettes, writing).

• Easy decorations that are stunning but simple to master. 

• Pro tips to avoid common beginner mistakes.

• A  two-layered 6” French Vanilla Lisa’s Rum Cake to decorate and take home. 

• All the cake decorating tools and accents required for the class to execute the curated design. (Take home cake decorating kits will be available to purchase separately.)

• Half-dozen French Macarons from Decadent Macaron.

• Additional macarons and beverages can be purchased seperately from DM.
