Lisa is a chocoholic that loves her vanilla, too. She came up with this flavor for her birthday one year, and it was a hit! The perfect balance of two classic flavors: chocolate and vanilla. This moist Chocolate cake is filled with one layer of both our creamy French Vanilla and Chocolate custards and studded with our gourmet, mini chocolate chips, frosted with Lisa's signature Italian whipped cream.
We purchased a little 6" cake for our anniversary. My husband wanted chocolate chocolate cake, but I didn't want too much chocolate so that pinstripe of vanilla was the perfect way to compromise! We love that cake so much I honestly thought about it every day, I cannot wait to eat more, and I was really sad when we finished it!
