Birthday With Strawberry Coconut Rum
This was my son's special request, and he & friends LOVED IT. MOIST, just sweet enough, marvelous custard, whipped cream icing "to die for!" We have been customers of Lisa's for years; first visit was at Cathy's in the original house. The cakes and flavors are wonderful, always fresh and perfect; must have for a special event. OVET-THE-TOP Cake for 60th Bday
We actually modified the Strawberry with Raspberries on this cake and it was exceptional for our party of 35 people in Sedona. We picked it up on a Wednesday, froze it until Friday when we drove up and it remained as fresh and tasty as ever. My guests who were all from out of town raved and are still raving about this cake. OMGoodness, this is the most amazing bakery ever. So my sister is coming back in town for her daughters ASU graduation and she has already ordered her cake with Lisa's Rum Cake! My family wants this cake every time they come to town. Ikes! Thank you Lisa for being so talented!
Best birthday Rum Cake
My wife , my children and all guesses love the Strawberry Coconut Rum cake. They all said "This is the best cake that I ever have". I have been ordered this type of cake from Cathy's Rum cake on Greenway rd. in Phoenix from 1990. A few years ago , I moved to Chandler. So I continue to order from Lisa's Rum cake (just the next generation of Cathy). Thanks to Lisa and her family for carry on the good family tradition recipe making the pretty and yummy cake. Thanks to Lisa's husband who designed a good website for us to order online.
the good ole' days
I used to live over off of greenway and 46th st when Kathy's rum came was my favorite place for cakes growing up! When the store closed, we were devastated! I'm grown now and my mom is in Tempe and I'm in California. I wanted to make her birthday extra special this year and get her a cake but we are completely against fondant! And then I saw "Lisa's rum cake" and it sounded familiar. Low and behold it was my favorite cake! It was decorated perfect. And mom said it tasted even better than she remembers. Thank you so much!

Recently ordered the strawberry coconut rum cake for my mother(Mother's Day) and she absolutely loved it, everyone did! Moist cake(not box mix) and no super sweet hard frosting but instead a creamy whipped cream of some sort... Placed the actual order over the phone with Lisa and she was so helpful and sweet, even gave me a discount! Will definitely be ordering another for my mothers birthday in June!

Was by far the best cake, I have had from Lisa's selection. Every cake I have had are wonderful! We live in Scottsdale and drive all the way to Gilbert foe these cakes. I love Lisa and her staff, always willing to help in anyway!
Outstanding Cake!
The cake was beautiful and everyone loved how it tasted! It added so much to the wedding shower! Madison took my order and helped me to make a choice about the flavor that would be the best fit and decorating ideas for the cake. Great customer service!
