Transportation instructions: cake will be assembled and boxed. It must travel on a completely flat/level surface in the car. We recommend floor board or trunk (never a car seat!).
Care Instructions: Arizona is hot! All tiered cakes are baked fresh, then assembled semi-frozen. That's how we've done it for 50 years with our Italian custard filled cakes. If you are serving the cake the day after pickup it will be frozen upon pickup, and you'l need to store the cake in the fridge until serve the following day. If you are serving the cake the same evening the cake will be semi frozen to be left at room temperature until served. If you need to serve your tiered cake around lunchtime or early afternoon, we encourage you to pick up your cake the day prior instead of the day off. It is challenging to transport a non-frozen tiered cake. These are generic instructions and recommendations, but we will give detailed instructions for your specific size cake and serving date when you pick-up.
